Pelvic floor physiotherapy is a specialised branch of physiotherapy focused on the assessment and treatment of conditions related to the pelvic floor muscles—the group of muscles that support the bladder, bowel, and uterus (in women) or prostate (in men).
Rosie is a clinical specialist physiotherapist with over 15 years experience treating complex pelvic related conditions, she works across the NHS and the private sector and has specialism in perineal trauma post obstetric anal sphincter injuries , urinary/faecal incontinence, painful bladder syndromes, pelvic organ prolapse, complex pelvic pain conditions, sexual dysfunction and painful intercourse.

Rosie is a highly experienced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist with a specialist focus in pelvic health. She qualified from the University of East London in 2007 and has since worked extensively within the NHS across London, Brighton, and Gloucestershire.
Rosie currently works as a Clinical Specialist in pelvic and breast health in both the NHS and the private sector, where she plays a key role in delivering advanced, evidence-based care. In her specialist role, she leads and contributes to several multidisciplinary services, including bowel clinics, perineal trauma clinics, and complex pelvic pain clinics. She works closely with colleagues across gynaecology, colorectal, pain, and oncology teams to support patients with complex and often long-standing conditions.
Alongside her NHS work, Rosie offers private physiotherapy services through The Pelvic Physio, providing specialist assessment and treatment for a wide range of pelvic health conditions. These include urinary incontinence (stress, urge, and mixed), faecal incontinence, chronic pelvic pain, painful intercourse, vulvodynia, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic constipation, post-prostatectomy incontinence, as well as pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain and postnatal rehabilitation.
Rosie sees patients in her welcoming clinic in the centre of Stroud and also offers home visits across Gloucestershire for those with mobility difficulties. She accepts GP, consultant, and self-referrals, and is committed to providing compassionate, personalised care to help patients regain confidence and improve their quality of life.
When Rosie isn’t treating patients, she is a busy mum to three teenage boys and enjoys getting outdoors on hilly runs with her Border Terrier, Pickle.
